The Department of History at Bartın University, together with the History Club, hosted an online conference focusing on key aspects of Turkish intellectual history.
Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Kayalı, known for his in-depth studies on Turkish sociology and intellectual history, met with students and academics in the event titled “An Overview of 20th-Century Turkish Intellectual History.” The conference discussed major transformations, intellectual movements, and historical turning points from the Republican era to the present, offering a broad intellectual map of the 20th century from Kayalı’s original perspective.
The event was moderated by Prof. Dr. Yenal Ünal.
